DeFi Mobile and DoubleU have forged a partnership to market DeFi's mobile-data and voice-connection offerings in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region.

DeFi provides a global IP (Internet Protocol) platform for mobile applications and services, while DoubleU provides technology, applications, mobile content and consulting services in the MENA region.

"The power of DeFi in the MENA region has great promise, as millions of people in every country in the region expand their reliance on mobile communication and business services," said Ayman Jomaa, managing partner of DoubleU. "The unique and high-quality services of DeFi Mobile are very attractive, especially the ability of DeFi to lower the amount of money people are spending on their mobile technology while actually improving the quality of their service."

The partnership will initially focus on 15 countries: Egypt, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kuwait, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Syria and the United Arab Emirates.
